Prince Harry said his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II was “in good shape” during their recent meeting in Britain. Her presence at that time she wanted to make sure the Queen was “protected” and had “the right people around her.”
The Duke of Sussex told NBC’s “Today” that the meeting was “amazing” with his grandmother. “It was great to see him,” he said in an interview that aired Wednesday. “He’s in good form,” as quoted from the CNN page, Wednesday, April 20, 2022.
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle stopped by the UK on their way to The Hague for The Invictus Games last week. The couple and the Queen drank tea together during the meeting.
“He always had a great sense of humor with me and I made sure he was, you know, protected and had the right people around him,” said Harry.
Previously, Prince Harry was photographed with his grandparents Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh in 2016 in Ascot, England. “We have a very special relationship,” Harry added. “We talked about things he couldn’t talk about with anyone else.”
Harry said he missed his family in England. However, he did not comment specifically when asked if he missed his father Charles, Prince of Wales, and brother Prince William, Duke of Cambridge.
